If you can answer yes to any or all of the above then you may be perfectly placed to offer an Airbnb Experience.
This workshop will be delivered by Emma Edwards-Jones as part of Snowdonia Active’s Curious Cymru project. Curious Cymru aims to raise the prominence of North Wales on the Airbnb Experiences platform by helping to develop a curated collection of unique products and experiences which showcase the wonderful culture and landscapes of our region. Airbnb Experiences was launched across the UK in May 2018, but the offer in North Wales is still quite sparse. Experiences have the potential to reach a vast audience with targeted email marketing to visitors staying near your business.
We are interested in working with existing and new businesses in North Wales to take exciting products to market via Airbnb Experiences. We can offer practical help and support in developing your ideas or share some of ours! We can also assist with marketing and promotion via social media.
This project has received funding via the Tourism Product Innovation Fund (TPIF) and supported through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and the Welsh Government. The Fund aims to encourage new innovative product ideas working in partnership which will have a greater impact and attract more visitors.
